Communities Not Cages

The New Way Forward Act rolls back harmful immigration laws that, for decades, have led to racial profiling and disproportionately resulted in the incarceration, deportation, and destruction of families of color and immigrant communities.

#StopICEtransfers

Communities across the country are organizing to end the prison-to-deportation pipeline. Right now, prisons and jails transfer immigrants and refugees to ICE at the point they are eligible to be released from state or local custody. If not because of where they were born, these community members would be allowed to return home to their families and communities and rebuild their lives. Many members of our network are supporting a bill in California called the VISION Act, AB 937, which would end this unjust “double-punishment” and set a positive vision for care, healing, and transformation.

Stop SEAA Deportation

This video series is designed not only to educate the broader Southeast Asian community on the impact of deportations on our families and communities but also to build public support for the need to end deportations.
